This episode of "Reliving The War" takes a look at WWF Raw and WCW Monday Nitro from November 6th 1995. WWF Raw is still broadcasting their Manitoba tapings that took place after In Your House 4, and WCW Nitro is live from Jacksonville, Florida.
Over on Raw, Lawyer Clarence Mason has used his courtroom experience to ensure Davey Boy Smith gets a WWF Title shot at In Your House 5 in December. Big Daddy Cool Diesel is gearing up for his match with Bret Hart at the 1995 Survivor Series while Shawn Michaels phones in to let us know he is ready to make a televised return. Over on WCW Nitro, there’s still some confusion regarding the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and so the Dungeon of Doom want to set the record straight. WCW fans have an opportunity to book the show, viewers can choose a babyface and a heel to face each other in the Nitro main event.
With Monday Night Raw and Monday Nitro trading TV Rating victories over these past few weeks, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in this episode of Reliving The War. Wrestlers who make an appearance include Bret “Hitman” Hart, Jerry Lawler, Kama, Sting, The Giant, The Renegade and more.
Matches and Promos covered in this video include:
00:00 - Marty Jannetty vs British Bulldog
03:50 - The Giant vs Cobra
05:59 - Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage at Venice Beach
09:00 - Eddie Guerrero vs Chris Benoit
12:21 - The Survivor Series Slam Jam
13:09 - Ric Flair vs Sting

I have to give this one to Nitro personally for better starpower and the Flair vs. Luger match
Who copies this angle with Sting and Ric in the scorpion deathlock? Wwe with Bret and Lawler or wcw with Ric and Sting?
WCW Eddie vs Beniot Sting Vs Flair Gee....who's going to win this one...
I disagree with your scoring this week. The Giant match had more significance than Bulldog applying the neck hold 5 times on The Rocker. And Doc Hendrix on commentary is worse than the WCW red & blue locker rooms. I also would give a tie to the next segment.
Was it ever revealed " wht LUGER " said ?? side note: ALL your comments AB BARRY... 😂😂😂😂 BTW, YOU do GR8 Work ! ! On a serious note, I TOTALLY concur with your assessment when it comes to KING in the WWF. Even as a heel in Memphis his style of working didn't have as much stalling. I wish that he would of sped up the pacing in his matches w BRET. The heat/story's in their program were INCREDIBLE, But the body of the matches themselves were severely lacking. ( You had to have LAWLER win a couple every now and again. I didn't like that finish using HOROWITZ...UGH. )
Seems to me man that u just dont like the dungeon of doom.
I love this series. I cant wait to get ahead a few years. Can't skip episodes though.
Those freeze-frames on Giant are great.
Lex Luger: truely the first wrestler to appear on both RAW and NITRO on the same night. I can see 3 Lex Luger pogs face-up.
There was definitely a Luger Pog in that pile...
Interestingly I went to my first WWF event in May of 95 and they were giving out those pogs for free back then and now here all these months later they’re trying to sell them
I agree Lawler was better in the 1970 and 80's outside of WWE.
Shawn Michaels was literally phoning it in lmao
I really enjoy this series as it hits EVERYTHING instead of the same 7-10 moments EVERYONE else does over and over which is highly boring after the 3rd time
15:48 PogChamp
I'm loving this series, I watched wrestling from 1990-94 and then again from 97-2002. So there is a gap in my knowledge about the mid-90s (other than the particularly famous incidents) so I'm loving seeing these videos. Good work!
In the Hogan/Macho promo, the Venice Beach rollerblade guitar guy is Harry Perry, an icon of the area and has featured in many films and tv shows, famous in his own right.
This thumbnail though
1995 Wrestling was incredibly fun, the over the top performances are so entertaining.
The scared heel was very Memphis! The difference is Lawler was always a babyface in Memphis
I didn’t have cable growing up so I missed majority of the Monday night wars unless I went to a family members house. This series is great better than the doc WWE did on this
if the tv ratings matched up to Wrestling Bios' scoring WCW would have dominated WWF from 1995 to 1998 clean. not just the 84 weeks we alread7y know, but all 4 years: 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998
Memories..😃😢😥😞 I miss those days..!! "It's real to me dame it"! 😁
Let’s face at this particular point in time (11/95) Nitro > Raw
I cant wait till you get to 1997-1998
Lovin the content brother!!! Keep up the good work. Thank you
Keep going bro that's awesome and I love how you show alive things and not only pictures 👍
Any way you could reduce the spoilers? Such as Benoit joining the Four Horseman or at least being more vague. I know it was 25 years but I didn't watch nitro and I'm sure there's other people who are the same for that show or the other or both. Thanks for the content.
11:53 DAMN that powerbomb 💥
Just a heads up, you have duplicates of videos in your Reliving the War playlist!
16:05 Nobody remembers that Lex Luger was the first wrestler to appear both on Raw and Nitro on the same night
Consistantly the best wrestling channel on ALfirst. Very informative and entertaining
I love this mannnn!!!! Shed the light on stuff I forgot or didn't know! Cant wait for the attitude nwo era.....are you including ecw also?
The guy with the guitar was in a Janet Jackson video in the 90's . He was popular nat Venice Beach
I love the intro theme, the remix version of the early 2000's Raw theme by union underground
Get out of my head! I would have said the same thing about the "white powder" hahaha!
Loving these shows keep em coming please 👍👍👍
Always loved the Bret Jerry fued, personally. Kings best work in WWF, i thought. The Isaac Yankam stuff was poo, though
Wasn't henry a jobbers in wcw early 90s before the texas masked guys lol
Just wait til Austin vs Nwo. Perfect videos. Fair and honest...can't disagree with your views. Pure awesome and thank you for reliving the best era of wrestling
I worked on the road and lived in hotels from city to city nothing was better than watching Nitro and then the same weeks Raw and think damn what a time!!! This concept is freakin amazing!!!
Shaved hulk hogan looks like jesse ventura are they related lmao
9:15 Who else remembers 99X?
Jimmy "Harp"..?
damn pogs haha! yeah im with yah , the bret hart vs lawler feud stunk!
This is just a hit piece on Henry Godwin
Dude I'm done asking nicely, now hear it. I want a video of TNA Wrestling history in the next week, otherwise the rabbit gets it
2:19 kind of sounds like the crowds in modern WWE Raw events, as people get burned out sitting through 3+ hours if wrestling.
Coincidentally I just saw both of these, the day this was uploaded, on the WWE Network.
This is a great series. I really hope you do it all the way to the end. Knowing how things turned out for him, it’s pretty hard to watch Renegade get completely torn apart by Jimmy Hart after the match. The guy just did what they’d asked of him, followed along with their stupid plan, then they threw him in the garbage when it blew up in their faces.
The guy with the turban and rollerblades is Harry Perry. He was a venice staple for decades.also a very nice guy.
Cool
I was at this Raw wwe show it was 7 hrs long...Brandon MB
Did anyone else catch Lex Luger on Monday Nitro and then on Monday Night Raw in pog form? Also was it just ironic that Kama was managed by The Millionaire Dollar Man or was he intentionally named that as a double entendre? “Comma”
03:21 Aloha Davey Boy
I don't like Bret Hart
I am a POG enthusiast. Those WWE POGS are worth a small fortune now if you have them in mint condition
17:54 That's gotta be Kane!
I was 9 in 1995 and I thought that was the real Bill Clinton
Nice! Watching old wcw and wwf times in lot of less time, besides there are some cool high quality drugs jokes hahahah best series
Thank you for doing this! This must take forever to do. Thank you for making this so entertaining and for us old guys to relive our youth again.
I actually thought was was Bill Clinton when I was a kid lol.
Lex Luger's pog is shown on Raw?
Running out of ideas huh?
Did everyone see the Lex Luger pong on the RAW Show that came out of the bag? Lol
I liked just cause of the intro. So badass!!
Homeless guy and dude playing guitar on rollerblades..... just another day in Venice beach in the 90’s
That heel vs baby face theme reminded me of Raw and Smack down brand
Thats venice beach on any other day. God I love California
I love your opening video the clips are awesome
Love this. Thank you for the work you put in on these videos 🙂
Nitro dominates until 98. Raw dominates until 01. 'F**k this' dominates from 2003
The Intro Theme is awesome! 👏👏
TNA Wrestling history please
Absolutely was the case of Jerry Lawler for me!!! I was kinda shocked after kayfabe and growing up I seen how he was in the territories I feel like wwf did him kinda dirty
HOG and POG on raw ...🤦🏻♂️Only in 95!
please dont stop doing this show...ever! :) I would even like to see a few episodes later on from when Raw and Tna went head to head :)
“Hulk Hogan and Randy savage are hanging out with this homeless guy” - Wrestling Bios 4/24/2020 an absolutely funny quotethat gets me every time
I wasn't a fan of these early Nitro Sting/Flair matches. They were so by the numbers and repetitive.
Wow, Davey Boy was very very big at that time.
Can anyone tell me what video that is of Scott Hall, The Giant, Hogan and Nash at the commentary table @0:28 ? Its driving me crazy, ive seen it before when it aired ages ago but i have no idea how to find it again. Ty in advance. Great upload as well, loving the series
I look forward to these, cos i only started watching wcw in 1998
Best thing on you tube at the moment
13:01- Nope. I don’t trust those coked-up guys with that rabbit.
Many will disagree, but I think Marty Jannetty could have been a Hall of Famer if he hadn't let his personal demons drag him down.
1995 just was not the best year to be a fan of either the WWF or WCW.
"Jip" Jeff Farmer Classic
Do the story of Zeus
🤼❤️😁
I really look forward to this, Great job.
Another great episode. Thanks!
thank you
great video again
Finally RAW gets a point. 😂 Wait till it goes two hours. You’ll have longer episodes.
Another great video. Good work, sir
Best historical wrestling channel
Wrestling Bios need to do a special episode dedicated to the small dog on WCW!!!
Best wrestling documentary ever!🍻🇨🇦
I had just turned 1 literally the day before. Lol.
Keep doing what you do! Each episode gives me goosebumps!! Seriously it reminds me of when I entered my teens, plus I love your intro's!!!
