Wrestling Bios continues "The Career of The Undertaker" with a look at the final days of 'Taker's "Big Evil" character. This video picks up where our last Undertaker upload left off, The Phenom had just dropped the WWE Undisputed Championship and turned babyface. After wrestling Test at the Summerslam 2002 pay per view, The Undertaker became a Smackdown exclusive superstar, kicking off 'Takers long and illustrious run with the blue brand.
Upon his arrival to Smackdown, The Undertaker was put straight into a rivalry with Brock Lesnar, resulting in 2 pay per view matches that included an incredibly good Hell in a Cell showdown at No Mercy 2002. The Undertaker would then feud with the likes of The Big Show and A-Train on Smackdown before bumping into an up and coming superstar named John Cena. From here, 'Taker had further PPV matches with A-Train, Brock Lesnar, and even the chairman Vince McMahon.
Topics and matches included in this video:
00:00 - The Undertaker becomes a Smackdown Exclusive
04:04 - Undertaker vs Brock Lensar at Unforgiven / No Mercy 2002
08:48 - The Undertaker feuds with Big Show & A-Train in 2003
11:09 - John Cena vs The Undertaker at Vengeance 2003

That hell in the cell match was way better than the raw main event
Face turns
The weirdest thing about the biker gimmick is how easily I bought into it. Yeah, it was jarring at first that he went from literal Satan to Sons of Anarchy, but I liked it. I saw him live a couple of times during this period, and the sight of him zooming to the ring on the bike was so damn cool. And admittedly, I was a Stephanie fan as a little girl, so seeing him protect her made me happy.
Bruce prichard confirmed that taker did indeed have a broken hand
Lesnar would legitimately kill the eldertaker. Wish brock had dropped him on his pinhead and saved us all the pain of watching the blundermaker shuffling around the Saudi Arabia shows
I think undertaker as a smack down exclusive is why I’m so fond of him as a wrestler I can remember a time where I hade no cable but my antenna could get wwe smack down
You know I actually liked the Bikertaker gimmick. Be it the biker or demon he was still fun to watch
I've never been a fan of bring a wrestlers family into a storyline angle. so needless to say the Undertaker cheating on his wife angle I hated it was not needed.
Crybabies bitching about how they hate the biker gimmick can go pound sand, it was needed and Mark Callaway wanted to take a break from his deadman gimmick and he has ever right to. Not everyone disliked the biker Undertaker, it was cool to see a different human side to him for a while and it made his return to the deadman gimmick fresh and interesting again
I liked the biker gimmick but have to admit this was a point in time where I was falling in and out of Wrestling. Great video and thanks for letting me relive what I missed.
4:40 I'm always fine with no contest endings when it's building to a bigger match and not just a way to end a feud with neither looking beat. And that's what happened here. Heck 5 years earlier Taker vs Shawn at Ground Zero is one of my favorite finishes of all time and it like this was building to a Hell in a Cell match.
I think Undertaker should come out as Mark Calaway this Sunday, to your intro theme.
Is their a link for the music in the beginning??
world knows a name thats UNDERTAKER
Your intros are so dope 🔥
Very nice to see a fellow ulsterman doing wrestling related videos, good work lad
Am I tripping or wasn't there a part of the big evil run he was a heel
Yeah I think that was on his first part of this series for his big evil run
Loving these bios especially for a guy who was a big wrestling fan between 1998-2013 #nostalgia
I bet the lights went out the moment his kid was born.
The Undertaker always loses burried alive matches
I truly believe taker was at his physical peak during this phase.
I loved this Taker, he had just the right balance of kick ass, talking trash and moments created
I mean at this point of his career he was getting matches almost to make his opponents look good. Brock Lesnar, The Big Show, A-Train, John Cena, Brock Lesnar with that weird Stephanie and Vince angle
So glad I found this channel. Such a thorough and interesting series.
Paul heyman manage taker in wcw
Personally I hated Brock and hated how he was pushed. For what? Just so he can leave a few years later. It left that era of wrestling stagnant.
Undertaker-- THE Muhammad Ali of the WWE . . . He doesn't need to prove anything anymore . . . He's done it all and won the WWE Championship, Hardcore Championship, the WCW Tag Team Championships, the WWE Tag Team Championships, Royal Rumble winner, and made it into the WWE Hall Of Fame . . .
I liked biker taker. When he returned at WM20 he should have returned as ministry undertaker, when he was really evil and devil like
This undertaker series is great. We gonna get a kane series? Brock series? Its funny has anyone else notice that at survivor series, when taker is in the grave you can see him digging about lol. It was funny watching it live, its even more funny they never edited out
I've been a big fan of The Undertaker all my life even when Taker turned heel, it was such an interesting change to The Undertaker character that made Taker the type of character that could fit into any role. Keep up the awesome work and I love the content.
What a insight thank you for your work its grateful to wrestling fans that lived in the best era could you do billy gunn if that interests you thank you for the videos
I've not watched WWE since the 2001 survivor series But I feel he retired 5 year's too late and the streak should never have ended

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh big evil
I miss the old times SO MUCH... I miss my old WWE... its so different to what i grew up with
deathman walking ✌💪👍
I liked the biker gimmick i wish they'd let him comeback as big red evil
I liked Big Evil. Made Undertaker a hell of a lot more relatable. Classic Taker was comic book heel. Big Evil was just a man with all due respect. Mark is definitely a Living Legend.
Honestly I preferred the biker gimmick, only because the supernatural gimmick was a little too over the top,my second favorite was the Ministry of Darkness gimmick, because there he wasn't a zombie, just a cult leader, it was still grounded in reality.
Unpopular opinion but 2003 is my favorite Undertaker year!
You should do Benoit’s road to WrestleMania 20
Simply the GOAT. I'm not talking talent-wise or technical finesse. But impact, popularity, longevity, gimmick, and being the TRUE Mr. Wrestemania. He checks off the most important boxes with ease.
I loved his American badass gimmick. It wasn't surprising he did that in 2000 since he was hinting a change during his unholy alliance with Big Show.
You forgot to mention those segments where heyman was delivering giant wooden box presents for taker which included, brother love, a singing Chris Kanyon, and a puppy
Taker is wwe. Worst wrester ever
I was at that Unforgiven show! 😎
Create a track on the theme only I like it
Your document was amazing but I think that you forget to put the return of this character un 2020 .
Do the story of Tommy Dreamer vs Raven Rivalry
can you imagine if nathan jones was officially part of the streak
Strsnge I though undertaker won a tournament in 2002 to earn the unforgiven spot. Msybe I am confused with the one John cena won in 2003
I liked Cena as a heel
Great video thanks 👍
Where so i get this tune lol
I wonder what happened to Tracy.
I’ve only recently discovered Wrestling Bios. Loving the content so far. Every time I watch one of your videos, I feel like I’m taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Awesome work. 👏👏👏👏
Undertaker is coming out of retirement. He will be wrestling again. I never believe it when people say he is done. I dont think he will ever stop wrestling to be honest. He should just keep doing one match a year forever. Great taker series BTW!!
No thank you...
hey wrestling bios i request for a video maybe you can talk about some of your favourite wwf / wwe stage designs
Can you do a video on Randy Orton, specifically the Legend Killer & 2004 babyface version until he turned heel against Taker?
Undertaker had so much star power that he alone anchored Smackdown after the brand split until his decline!
My fave version of the Undertaker!
I dont have a problem with the biker gimmick except it inconsistent....how do you change personalities like that? It was stupid.
I love the American Badass especially Big Eagle.
I'm a huge taker fan. My fav character/wrestler of all time. And I absolutely love aba and big evil taker. It allowed Mark to be himself a bit more and get with the times of era. So idk why people would dismiss this time.
Undertaker!! He has made our childhood and adulthood filled with joy !!
I don't know why any Takers fans who not like the biker gimmick. If you think of him like a comic book character, it makes sense that he would have a dual identity. It's kinda like Logan/Wolverine. Is he any less Wolverine if he's on a bike, chomping a cigar rather than wearing yellow tights? I think ABA/BE just made the Undertaker a much more rounded character.
Vince with his hands in the praying, please forgive me clasp. Obviously carrying a blade, 1st or second punch, he's pouring with blood. SS 2003.
I wanted Biker Taker back for YEARS. I’m glad he got to go out with it in a hybrid sense at WM 36.
I love Biker Taker
Dead Man Walking
Will always love the Deadman he is BADASS
Biker Undertaker is the best Undertaker. There I said it.
love this series!!
Surprising how Takers Ex wife was featured too much in his stories than his now wife Michele who shouldve been due to her being a Diva back in decade ago
Damn undertaker has dated some hot girls
The Undertaker is the greatest EVER!!! The American Badass gimmick was absolutely awesome, but i prefer the Deadman!
Chain on a pole match, sounds like a Vince Russo match 😂
Why are the intros so freaking loud?
You're telling me that Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, John Cena, Kurt Angle, and many others were on Smackdown weekly? F@ck outta here with that bullsh!t
Are we ever going to hear the full theme songs made by this channel??? Are the type of questions that keep me up at night
What's the Narrator's name?
Kane killed Big Evil back in 03
Woah, this brings back memories. I surprised myself how much WWE I watched back in 2002-2003. Then again, once Cena was in the main event I was out...
Great video as always. The Ministry Undertaker will forever be my favorite version of The Undertaker. The look and the theme song were excellent. And Brock Lesnar is one soul that The Undertaker could never and will never claim.
To me Hell in A Cell is a Taker match!! We aready Know Burried Alice,Casket Match, and Biker Chain match are his. But “Hell in a Cell” just screams Undertaker!!
Me personally I really like the Undertaker Biker Gimmick
anyone has the link to the music used in this video?
I liked the biker gimmick.
Any chance u will do more bios on non wwe people was hoping u would do more video on back in the day wrestlers please and thanks
Taker got on that gas for this run. Looked good.
13 years in the ring he started wrestling in 85 against bruiser brody 18 years actually
And yes I am counting his non wwe years
I like the 1996 undertaker up to 1999
That promo undertaker on November 6th 2003 was simply epic and at the time I thought it was real at the time
Maybe he should have stayed big evil a little longer
What about when Big Evil was a bully. His time in hardcore division after Maven put him out on the rumble
Taker and brock was a all right feud sucks undertaker only beat brock once in a tag team brock had more wins on him wwe was good during this time .But a dream match on smacdown back then would have been undertaker as big evil or who ever he came as vs sting
@Tyler McGinnis maybe you did not want to but i did
Nobody wanted to see Sting V Taker..
I need a full track of that remixed you're gonna pay track. That'll kick ass on my gym playlist
I forgot about Matt Hardy being Brock Lesnar's friend for a little while. Made no sense to me, plus I never liked Matt Hardy so I probably forgot about that on purpose lol.
Tracy would get it
