The Wrestling Bios "Career of The Undertaker" series continues. The Phenom has just came out of WrestleMania XX in 2004 and his return was a success, and now The Phenom would face his first challenger on the Smackdown Brand... Booker T.
Booker T vs The Undertaker was a short feud that only last a few weeks yet it was quite memorable. While Booker T tried to get assistance from "the other side" to defeat 'Taker, it was no good. The Undertaker was able to defeat the 5 time WCW champion at Judgment Day 2004. From here The Undertaker would begin a longer rivalry with WWE Champion JBL, resulting in 2 pay per view matches. The first happened at Summerslam 2004, and the second was "The Last Ride" match at No Mercy.
After feuding with Heidenreich, The Undertaker found himself without a WrestleMania opponent. "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton decided to challenge the phenom in a special "Legend vs Legend Killer" match at WrestleMania 21.. and a lot of fans weren't so sure if The Undertaker could keep his undefeated streak intact.
Topics and matches covered in this video:
00:00 - 'Taker vs Booker
04:45 - Paul Bearer and the cement filled crypt
08:43 - The Undertaker challenges for the WWE Championship
14:15 - Legend vs Legend Killer

Randy was supposed to beat the Undertaker here, refused to do it, I think it’s the biggest mistake WWE ever made not having Randy beat him. Could you imagine what that would have done to his already incredible career??
From what I have read Orton was gonna beat the streak but he didn’t want to
A thru z wcw wwf 80s and 90s gimmicks video
Where do you find these theme song remixes?? So sick
I completely forgot about that voodoo thing. So silly.
june 3rd 5:20
Wild story writing wild I say and I love it lol
Great Stuff Wrestling Bios! Altho you missed a chance with, Hiding-Reich :D
The rivalry between jbl and undertaker was amazing in my eyes
Orton has mentioned there was talk of him beating the streak but he turned it down out of respect to Undertaker.
Watched the whole series, fantastic work
The build up to the Armageddon match had one of my favorite lines from JBL. After he said he wouldn't be putting up the title again (or something to that effect), Guerrero, Booker, and Taker all came out to say they wanted a shot. JBL said, "I just said I wouldn't be defending my title! Now I have to say it in Spanish, I have to say it in Ebonics, and I have to say it in Monster!" As for Orton, I swear I heard somewhere that they did consider him beating Taker at Mania, that even Taker himself agreed to it, but Orton apparently refused out of respect for Taker.
Literally just found this channel and have been watching nonstop for a few hours. Amazing content. Thanks for the hard work and info put into these. Most channels like these bore me to death but not this one.
dead man rules!!!
2:14 It's kinda funny how Booker raised the urn and undertaker by accident. For anyone who doesn't remember back in the day whenever Paul Bearer raised the urn undertaker would sit up.
The confrontation with booker t on smackdown wasn't takers first appearance since wrestlemania, taker tombstoned Paul hayman on the smackdown after mania.
Summerslam 2004 was a special evening for another reason also
I actually enjoyed the Booker vs taker program. Not that it was a great story or matches, it definitely wasn't lol but they're both two of my favorite performers and I never thought I'd get to see them in the ring together.
You got to do the build up to Wrestlemania 23 and aftermath. There is alot to talk about there!
Watching these has really made me want the wwe network to relive all these events. I've heard mixed reviews is it worth it and can you watch the raws in order with the ppv's. Great videos by the way
The intros on majority of these videos with the wrestler's theme song gets you hyped up for the video. Especially the Hogan vs Warrior video, but undertaker content is always a good video to watch
The funny thing is that this was Orton at his peak of being an asshole backstage, and yet both WWE and 'Taker approached him about ending The Streak at Wrestlemania 21, but Orton said "No" as the streak and Undertaker was too sacred to end at that time.
I turned out of wrestling round this time as I couldn't buy into JBL at all and still can't stand him today but jumped in and out. Hydenrike was also one of the worst pushes and vignettes I ever witnessed Never watched Orton v Taker but will give it a go on that recommendation Great upload as always WB
The lighting with Booker still makes me laugh
You are incorrect. Undertaker first appearance after Wrestlemania 20 was the following Smackdown when he came out in the same attire but with a bandana. He tomb stoned Paul Heyman in the presence of Eddie and Rey Mysterio.
Yes more undertaker
How long does it take for you to write your thoughts on your videos? They are very well researched and presented. (if you write anything at all lol)
Smackdown here wasnt his first appearance since Mania 20. He appeare Smackdown after in a bandanna and tombstoned Paul Heyman
The more I learn about the Undertaker. The less I care now.
I was actually upset at the time that Randy Orton didn’t go over UT at WM21. I too thought he was the perfect candidate at the time.
I wont watch wrestling again unless Taker or The Rock wrestles. I have no interest in anyone else.
The 2004 version of Undertaker was Super jacked
I would love to see Undertaker to come back in Survivor Series to give the Power of the Urn to Damien Priest
Booker shoulda have seek help from Papa Shango in his feud with Undertaker
Heidenreich. The Poundland Brock Lesnar.
It was disappointing the Undertaker didn't win the WWE championship from JBL especially in the last ride match
I really liked this match and I think it is way underrated and not given enough props when taking about The Streak. Great story and as mentioned, Orton played the role amazingly here.
They should have had The Undertaker Become WWE Champion evennif it was for two months
I wonder if the witch doctor had papa shango come to visit her to get that curse to make Warrior puke up everywhere 🤔
As always...... Great content :)
It’s easy to see that heidenrich was just a Lesnar 2.0 so I would assume that this heidenrich rivalry would have been built for lesnar if he hadn’t left wwe
I will never forget my reaction when I first saw that choke slam to rko reversal from Orrin. I went nuts when taker kicked out I thought it was over😭
Thanks, for this channel ready for Road to Wrestlemania 22 after a Summer & Fall rivalry against Randy Orton at Summerslam (2005), No Mercy (2005) and Armageddon (2005) epic Hell in a Cell Classic from short hiatus to Royal Rumble 2006 return to challenge Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight championship (Big Gold Belt) during Angle's rise as the Wrestling Machine Era in a unforgettable No Way Out Classic championship match to Casket Match against Mark Henry at Wrestlemania during his Henry's Monstrous Super Heel during Henry's in The Hall of Pain Era as Smackdown most feared heels.
I remember when Heidenreich kidnapped Michael Cole and read a poem to him 🥴
Even though I'd long stoped watching wrestling by this time I too agree Orton should have won also. Not brock freaking lesner
Legend Killer > Viper
Hell no. Orton is one of the worst choices to end takers streak. If you want me to be honest? Summerslam 2019 is when I saw the guy who should've broken the streak and retired the Deadman
Ortin vs. Undertaker was on the last times I was so heavily invested in the WWE. It’s been downhill for the company since.
Do the story of dean Douglas in the WWF
Did you just never delete your TiVo? Or is this all from WWE network?
No doubt when Undertaker returned as the deadman his best feud was against Randy Orton. Lots of people know Orton was offered to be the one to end the streak but declined. Their WM match was amazing but their Hell in a Cell match in my opinion was even better.
The Heidenreich and Undertaker Feud was probably one of my favorite. Although the JBL vs. Undertaker Randy Orton vs. Undertaker fuses ran a little longer and maybe gained more television ratings... The Undertaker Heidenreich fuse what's the most comedic. There's nothing like crazy versus deadly!
The Undertaker and Randy Orrin feud is severely underrated.
That was taker's first wrestlemainia match that based on his streak
Cant wait for the rivalry of the year in the next video. Wrestlemania 21, Summerslam, No Mercy and Armageddon 2005 which is one of the best Hell in a Cell match.
Definitely one of my fav years from Taker, it's such a shame Paul Bearer was written off of tv due to complications from his surgery he had to lose weight. Imagine if that didn't happen, how taker and bearer would have been from 2004-2007 or 08
Undertaker is my favorites superstar, loving the videos
How did they fake that Paul Bearer death?
Undertaker will be missed dearly 😢 💔
Imagine in 2020, turning hell by hitting a woman lol
It was so stupid having taker bury PB
Bruiser Brody video
🤣 2:42 Undertaker whole head looks like the Adam's Family House daaaamn 😭 Booker T looking like Sheneneh 😂😂
How about a vid about Eugene? Nick dinsmore was awesome and i think he was highly underrated.
Around 10:40 where Undertaker faced Orlando Jordan while JBL was ringside sporting that brace - that was the FIRST EVER wrestling match I remember watching as an 8 year old kid then. 16 years later, still a fan of wrestling and still a huge Undertaker fan. I saw him live when I was 10.
I really dont respect his strick his first 10 and alot of them werent at his level only randy ortin,CM PUNK,hhh,HBK,Kevin Nash,Sid Justis"SO i dont think he was all that image taker agaist Warrior, hulk hogan, the Rock ,STEVE AUSTIN,at there peek like mania 7 with hulk then mania 8 with warrior,Under taker vs Ric flair a old Flair and taker taking on HBK, Kain,HHH 2 times was dumb no need im glad Brock beat him should of been cm punk or randy ortin or even Bret hart
Wtf did I just read...
One of your HBK vids led to me watching Wrestlemania 21 and I saw this Taker v Orton match and it was exactly as you said “a surprising treat” haha
Can we get a video about El Dandy? .... seriously
Yo bro do a video on JBL career I forgot they put the belt on him he came along way from the attitude era
I was a big fan of Orton during this era. I wanted Orton to break the streak but that did not happen. Since then, I never again rooted against the Undertaker Wrestlemania streak until it was finally broken by Brock Lesnar. But In WrestleMania streak or no streak, I always favor the Undertaker.
I think Wrestling Bio really loves The Undertaker.
I always wonder what happend to hardcore holly he was really underrated
No Eddie Guerrero WWE days from 2000-2005?
The Mania 20 and 21 builds were the only times I had any interest in the revived Deadman stuff. His various gimmick matches and feuds all felt like the same old predictable routine and I found myself bored of it even after the JBL rivalry. Either the writers just weren't very creative or Taker would have worked better as a monster heel at the time. I was hoping Orton would have ended the streak at WM21 but I suppose it worked out better as a longer rivalry.
Heidenreich had AWESOME entrance music, though. Can't take that away from him. Lol. 💜
The best part of the Taker vs JBL feud was the return of Viscera and Gangrel. I thought those two would stick together and become a tag team. However, the feud with Orton was even better. The hell in a cell match between the two was a great way to end their rivalry.
does anyone else think its odd that as soon as undertaker retired randy starts legend killing again
I think one point you forgot to mention was that Randy was in fact pipped to end the streak but he didn't do it out of respect for the Undertaker
Do the radicalz
Would you ever do a Q/A style video? I’d love to hear your take on fan questions.
I’ve heard that the idea of Orton ending the streak was kicked around, but Randy didn’t want to be the one to do it. This WrestleMania match was the first time I thought the streak was in jeopardy. When he reversed the choke slam I thought it was over.
The "mini superstar" fetish by Vince, Pat, Bruce, or whomever in creative was already played out with Dink in '94. It was sad that they kept doing this for decades. Taker may have looked at his time with Giant Gonzales fondly after suffering through his feud with Heidenreich. The build up segments with Taker, Randy & Bob were awesome leading up to WM21.
My favorite era of Taker
I love that u’ve covered his career for hours, it’s done him justice so far
Undertaker first appearance after wm20 was in a segment with Paul Heyman with the great line "there's not a man alive who can stand in my way"
🐌........first
521 likes 0 dislikes.... I'd say that shows bios knows and makes awesome content 💯👌
I was at Wrestlemania 21
Man I love the Taker
Jbl and heindenreich both sucked ass. Guys like them and triple h in the upper card with guys like Johnny the bull, Charlie Haas, Billy Gunn, Billy Kidman treading water. Absolutely bonkers.
Undertaker's Road to WM21 was great but his rivalry with Orton had me glued 15 years ago. Loved it
19:08 - Tommaso Ciampa
JBL looks Stupid at 10:06
The grave with no name is where John cena buries people
Or hogan lol
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law
Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush in to evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community
Revelations 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" and let the one who hears say , "Come!" let the one who is thirsty come and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life
Undertakers first appearance after mania 20 was on the smack down after where he came out, took his hat off and he was weed the Bandanna And he tombstones GM Paul Heyman
Revelations 20:15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown in to the lake of fire
I love this particular series I've been watching them all keep them up mate your vids are quality stuff 😊
